Steven's first entry

The Journal of Ben Uchida

The story is about a boy named Ben Uchida whose family and all the other Japs have to go to an internment camp because of the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japenese. I thought that it was unfair for everyone to treat Ben and his family along with all of the other Japs in a bad way, give them looks, and be really mean to them because they had nothing to do with the bombing and it wasn't their falt. I didn't like how people treated them just because they were Japenese. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor Ben's father was taken away for questioning. After that Ben and his family and all the other Japs are forced to go to a prison camp and stay their until the war is over.
