Leslie's 2nd Entry:P

I haven't finished reading the book yet but so far it has been interesting.This book makes you feel grateful for what you have today.he last thing i wrote was probably how everyone thinks Uncle Pace was run over by a train.They thought that he was murdered.Back then in the 1919s everyone was judged by there color of skin.Many people did not like colored people.Back then they also had a white school and a black school for kids.When I think about how most of the people were back then i really don't like how they treated them.It would be difficult for some people to live like that,thinking they are nothing.I felt bad for Nessie and all the black characters in the story.Nessie thought that having darker skin was good,and it is good she felt this way.I haven't finished reading it but so far its good.
