A journey to the new world:The Diary of Patience Whipple. This book is about young girl who is 9 yrs.old and she is writing in her diary about life the the May Flower "Sweetship" ship.In the diary her and her parents, family members,and her friends are on the May Flower ship with her.This book really inspires me because in the book she shows her bravery and her confidence during her trip to the new land.She also meets some new people in the ship who become her friends.On October 2, 1620 she is heading to Virginia near the Hudson River and she is sailing down the Mississippi River.She has a strong relationship with a woman by the name of Mrs. Imp who makes a delicious ginger cake.
