Joey's first post

The name of my book is The Journal of Jasper Jonathan Pierce
Its about a boy from London and he goes on the mayflower and what he experienced. Like what he ate, what he did on the mayflower. It took place in 1620. They ate broth, pea soup, and plum duff. The seamen got two pieces of bread. And a pint and a half of peas. This book makes me feel sad for the people that left everything in where they came from and who left family members at home. I feel sad for the people who got sick,and the people that puked on the ship. Also the work they had to do. Sometimes they ate stale food and sometimes cold food. I feel really bad for the people who had to sleep on wet beds because water would go through the cracks in the deck or other holes in the ship. They fixed a broken beam from the bad storm they had. So they fixed it with a bult they had for the New World houses in America. On November 9 Jasper's birthday.He would be fourteen and he had to celebrate his birthday on a boat. On America Jasper found trees that he would not see in London.I felt bad when Jasper was cold on the boat and shivering.They thought America was a never ending place of different things.
