I have been reading a book from the series "Dear America" and the title of my book is A Coal Miner's Bride, The Diary of Anetka Kaminska. Her name is Anetka Kaminska, a girl who lives in poland in 1896. She does a lot of work for her family and is learning how to become a woman so she can start her own family. One thing that I read about and annoyied me a lil was that she got a letter from her friend Tata saying that she had told a guy in america about her and that he wanted to marry her. Her friend told him that she would marry him. She is not happy about this at all. So she prays to Saint Ann, her patron saint to help her. It annoyied me because I don't think that anyone but her should choose who she marries but especially her friend.
